Hi, I'd be interested in peoples opinions on this rather nice pink. I collected the seed in the near Saint-Antheme, Massif Central two years ago. Only one came up unfortunately, but it's a very nice plant, fairly tall for a pink (about 25 cm) with attractive black calyces. It's only weakly scented though. I have it as Dianthus seguieri subsp. pseudocollinus, based on online French guides, but would be interested in the views of others as I'm no expert on pinks.

I am no Dianthus expert either but I think you probably do have the correct name for your plant.

Tristan, where you found it, there's is only Dianthus seguieri pseudocollinus and Dianthus deltoides with this flower and only the former with this foliage. Dianthus seguieri pseudocollinus was formely named in France Dianthus sylvaticus. For a identification of pink, a picture of the calix (and of the leaves) is usually needed.

I think it's the sylvaticus,usually there are in-situ 30cm tall.

Thanks all. Definietely this species I think, especially as this is not deltoides.
Attached some pictures of the calyx and leaves for confirmation.
