Title: Dianthus (garden pinks)
Post by: grenadier on June 16, 2015, 02:39:25 PM
Please can anyone help. I am putting together a collection of Wyatt garden pinks. I would like cuttings of the following "Doris Wyatt". "Anna Wyatt" and "Jenny Wyatt". If anyone can help I will pay all reasonable costs. (I have tried Whetman Pinks for these varieties and they cannot help). ~ grenadier.

Thanks to Giles reply I have now been able to take "Carmine Letitia Wyatt" off the list as it is now as he say's "Pretty Flamingo".

Odd that, when I googled "Wyatt garden pinks" most of the information that came up was from Whetman's Web Site?

David thank you for replying. I have both checked with Whetman's and also have their current catalogue. I can assure you that the Wyatt garden pinks that I have listed and require are NOT available from them. I am hoping that someone may have the odd plant growing in their garden and would kindly let me have a cutting or two. I am willing to pay for the cuttings also all postage and packing charges. ~ grenadier.

'Carmine Letitia Wyatt' was renamed 'Pretty Flamingo'...  ..which they *do* stock.

Thank you for that information Giles that's one tracked down, three to go. I never realised that they did name changes with old varieties. I wonder if that was were David was coming from in his reply. ~ grenadier.
