Cyril and I were at The Patch in Shrewsbury the snowdrop garden where the Late Margaret Owen amassed such a wonderful collection of snowdrops. I post pictures of the people who were invited for the Saturday lunch and Chris Sanders who managed the day very well and Hildegard Owen Margaret's Daughter in law. we had a great time and it was very special to be at The Patch I felt Margaret was watching, cheers Ian the Christie kind

Ah David!
Are you the same David Nicholson who suggested on the Snowdrop ID thread that it didn’t matter if your snowdrops were mis-labelled?
Tim DH ::)

Yeah, Tim, he's the one! ::)

Nice to see the good and the great at play. Also nice to see the patch in sunshine as the Saturday was certainly the best day of the weekend. The day after it was rain/snow/sleet coming sideways but didn't put off us hardy (crazy) snowdrop enthusiasts. O yes and nice to see Jim Almond dry, the next day he was soaked through during his job of snowdrop lifting. Thanks for putting these photos up Ian and it was good to see you there on the Sunday.

I was going to say I'd never seen Cyril with so many clothes on - but doesn't sound right, somehow! :-X :-\

I thought this info had been posted here - but it must have been in another thread -
the amount raised for the Multiple Sclerosis charity from the sales at the last opening weekend at the Patch was the magnificent sum of £6500. A really marvelous result!
