Dear all,
Another species I am having difficulties with is Artemisia genipi. I cannot find any species specific instructions on sowing / growing from seeds. Anyone who can help?
Regards
Corrado

I'm not sure that these seeds need cold stratification but it's not deserving germination. In this paper (http://www.geobot.umnw.ethz.ch/publications/periodicals/download/68_63_schwienbacher.pdf), they had nearly 100 % germination after 10 weeks of cold stratification. I don't know what is the minimum period of cold required.

Norman Deno carried out germination trials of many species. Perhaps this would be a useful search point?

other indications on germination of Artemisia Genepi :
- an other paper from Schwienbacher (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3886365/)
- Tom Clothier's archive (http://tomclothier.hort.net/page02.html). This archieve propose also a taxonomic index for Deno's work (I didn't compare with Deno's book and I don't know if it's complete)

Thanks to you all again!
After considerations about climate here and climate where the plants grow the seeds have gone straight to their fridge in their paper bags for some cold dry storage, to re emerge at snow thawing time.
Best,
Corrado
