Title: Countryfile
Post by: johnstephen29 on January 26, 2015, 11:36:34 AM
Great edition of countryfile on bbc 1 yesterday celebrating burns night, beautiful Scottish scenery, piping in the haggis, loverly poems, great fiddling and a sobering topic on chicken. One of the best episodes for a while.

Interesting section on Countryfile this evening showing the docility of Alpacas, when trained.
They were using them to visit care homes for the elderly, even taking them up in a normal passenger lift, and take them out when they indicated they needed to relieve themselves. No they didn't cross their legs ;-)
It's near the end of the programme if you watch it on I-player. May go on youtube eventually if you don't have access.
There was also a short bit about Stone Curlews being encouraged on a root crop farm.
