Hi all
Before some days I have also received the most of my wishes from the seed exchange - many thanks to all :)
Now I'm puzzling :
What is the best time to sow seeds of Camassia quamash ? ( I have no expierience with growing it from seeds)
now ?
outside ?
or in my bulbframe ?
or in my greenhouse ?
or waiting until March and sow all together with the other seeds ?
Thanks for any advices !

I think Camassia needs cold treatment, Hans- so I would sow now and put outside.

Hi Hans,
Camassia seeds need cold, at least 40-50 days, 60-90 seem better : http://ir.library.oregonstate.edu/xmlui/bitstream/handle/1957/42822/RussellMichaelHorticultureDormancygerminationPre-treatment.pdf?sequence=1 (http://ir.library.oregonstate.edu/xmlui/bitstream/handle/1957/42822/RussellMichaelHorticultureDormancygerminationPre-treatment.pdf?sequence=1)
Alplains says 3 months cold stratification.
