many moons ago I built a base for one of the alpine houses that has two beds either side which are roughly 7' long and 3' wide (steps are in between)
they are built out of standard 100mm blocks
they need a frame building over them and we have plenty of 4 X 2 and glass of various sizes
does anyone have any plans they could share with me - or has anyone built any that they could post some pictures
I am particularly interesting in how the frames clip into the top rail and how this is constructed?

there is already 18' of elite aluminium frames down the back - its a pity these two were not built the same size as them..............

Some threads about the various frames made by forumists - most using them for bulbs but of course they can be used for anything.......

cheers Maggi
I also have 10 frames that are 13' X 1m built into the bank side but they will be a project for another year

Thanks for reminding me of those threads. I'm trying to engineer some frames of my own which have to withstand Hebridean winds and builts with non-corrosive elements.
