Hi,
We have this Daphne growing in the garden and its currently in flower, using a key the answer we came to was Daphne tangutica, but we have smaller specimens of Daphne tangutica Retusa Group which currently have berries on, not flowers.
I was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what it might be? :-)

Hi Maryjean - welcome to the forum! You'll have lots of fun in Perth - a vibrant SRGC group there to get to know (if you haven't already!)
What I know about Daphnes can be written on the head of a pin ;) - but I do know we've had D. tanguticas that have flowered on and off all year and some that seem to "prefer" autumn flowering.

Hi Maggie,
Yeah many plants seem to be flowering out of sync at the moment so it's highly possible this is the case.
Been to a couple of perth SRGC meetings so far, and heard some interesting speakers :-) working at Branklyn for the next year, my mind is absolutely blown with the number of different plants I've came across already! :-)
