Hi,
I just received Ian's catalogue and you can see it here (http://www.heritageorchids.co.uk/Butterfield%20catalogue%202014-2015.pdf).
There are some nice new plants. They don't seem to have a presence on the internet but I have a few pictures taken in his nursery in the spring. I don't have pictures of all the new hybrids, but I thought you might like to see the ones I have.
Here are:
Pleione Darwin
Pleione Marion Johnson 'Whinchat'
-
Also:
Pleione Steve James 'Plum Perfection'.
As the name implies, this hybrid was created by Steve James. This is a real cracker, large flowers of the most vivid and contrasting colours. Must have ;) ;) ;)

Thanks for putting those photos much appreciated , I've been trawling the internet to no avail and although Ian's descriptions are good nothing beats a good photo. Richard

Hi Richard,
I'm glad you appreciate them, although the picture quality is not the best. Those of us who have bought Ian's pleiones know that we can trust him. But buying something without knowing what it looks like can be a bit of a leap of faith, especially when the item is expensive. I'll try to get images of the other two newbies. :)

Pleione Katmai 'Crossbill' you can see here in my photogalery ;)

P. Whakari 'Mountain Pipit' and
