On the off chance one is in Sacramento, California with some time on their hands the WPA garden in William Land Park is worth a look.
These photographs were taken on 2 October 2014, and the garden is still looking good. In the spring the garden can be spectacular!

The garden was started in the 1930's,

and came to life when Daisy Mah became the head gardener.

Daisy has spent 30 plus years creating a beautiful public garden with many interesting plants,

Often spending her own money to acquire unique plants for the garden.

She was recently retired, however she still devotes 2-3 days a week to the garden.
All the locals know know the garden as "Daisy's Garden". If you ask someone in town where Daisy's garden is located, you will find the place.
