This morning I have found Confirmation damaged, eated by some bug >:(
Flower was fine yesterday evening, does anyone have any idea which bloody creature could be the culprit ???

I would have thought a slug or snail a likely candidate. Obviously very discerning.

Khadija, I have the same on my flower buds of P. Liz Shan. Under the pot I found a nice coloured small slug >:(

I thought it was a bug, but a snail or slug makes more sense as they like to slither at night.
Did a quick check and haven't found any so far, I will set up a beer trap :P

or if you have something really special, you could put copper tape round the pot, having made sure that the critter is not nesting in the compost or under a leaf. :)

Not a bad way to go. 8)
A torch at night is another approach - not good for one's beauty sleep though.
