Crocus speciosus Aino blooming in our collection nursery in Holland.

Eric,
nice to see the first autuum crocus from your fields. Luit kindly guided a unforgettable spring visit to your field some years ago.

'Aino' is a nice dark striped form, I liked it. Unfortunately I lost it by Feb.'12 black frosts. :'(
Other speciosus bulblets survived in the meadow. Hope some day will flower as beautiful as 'Aino'. :)
