Search the forum  for Vickery in a topic title , Mike - his seed and bulb lists are posted a couple of times a year......

My greenhouse is always kept at 4°c because it also hosts Sarracenia that need more than 2°c.
I never lost bulbs by frost but more by watering errors or virus.

I have this spring flowerer which came to me as Hyacinthus vimacea, but that's a made up name. I can only think it is Scilla vicentina.

Cheers Anthony
Scilla scilloides flowers in the fall but I have no picture available today.
If an experienced grower like you cannot see wether it is a Fessia or a Scilla I wonder what is the meaning in breaking out Fessia???
(I can give a meaning but this is the time of being nice - even to splitters)
Happy new year

Arnold,

Scilla maderiensis, very sweet!  :)

On your last posting on Narcissus:

Is Nancy Wilson still around? I have not seen her advertisements around for a while.

I had a look at her web site and it looked like it  wasn't   updated in a while.

I usually call when I need to contact her.
