Saw this splendid conifer with huge cones growing in Braemar yesterday. I should know what it is... but can anyone ID?

No response so far - is it Abies procera (Noble Fir)?

It does look like Abies procera - pretty super cones, aren't they?

Yes, without being too Mills and Boon-ish, they do stand proud.
