With me the same. Both still underground although when I potted my business residual stocks all had 5-7 cm long shoots. But I still didn't watered pots. I will start watering on Monday or Tuesday when all stocks will be replanted.

Crocus scharojanii flavus is one of our favourites - sadly we lost it to marauding mice - if anyone has seed, we'd be very grateful to have some.

I'm out with my paintbrush every day. If I get seeds I'll send some to you.

Hi Dirk,
Nice flower. Out of curiosity, looking at your pic, do you not repot all of your Crocus every year? The surface of the autranii pot does not look recently disturbed...

Alex,
this Crocus autranii grow since two years side by side with Crocus scharojanii in a open and shadow bed in my garden. Only the seedlings stand in pots.

Here in Belgium the crocus season is also started! :D
Crocus speciosus ssp. ilgazensis is a small member of the speciosus family with good visible veins in the flower.
Crocus kotschyanus ssp. cappadocicus is one of my favorites!
Both of the crocusses are outside in full ground.

You are lucky , Ruben - you not only have the flowers you are also getting sunshine to open them -lovely.

Yes Maggi, August was very wet but the begin of september is dry and sunny and about 25degrees celcius!
I don't complain ;D

Sunny weather today and a first flower on Crocus thomasii. This one is selected in South-Italy. I like Crocus thomasii because the leaves come first so he doesn't flower naked!
