Dunblane Early Bulb Display 21 February 10:00 am - 4:00pm
"Kewing for Bulbs with with Kit Strange" with talks at 11am and 2pm

Summer Event (Dunblane) Confirmed date 22nd August. Our speaker will be Susann Nilsson who will be talking on Pulsatillas in the morning and Mongolia and Eastern Russia in the afternoon.

Aberdeen Show will take place on 23rd May 16th May at the Duthie Park Winter Gardens, Aberdeen

The SRGC Summer Day will take place on Saturday 22nd August 2015
Our speaker will be Susann Nilsson who will give three talks.
First will be on Pulsatillas, the second talk is "Eastern Treasures", about Altai, Tien Shan, northern Mongolia and Russian Far East with a short jump to Hokkaido. The third, which Susann has called "Sandy´s Special Swedish Summer Show" is about native plants of northern Sweden.

Update .....
A group of SRGC volunteers mounted a display stand at the Gardening Scotland event at Ingliston, near Edinburgh, from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 May. http://www.gardeningscotland.com/main-features/ (http://www.gardeningscotland.com/main-features/) - our super team won a Gold Medal for their efforts - you can see photos HERE (http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=13124.0)

There are some changes to the programme for the SRGC Summer Day -Susann Nilsson will give THREE Talks !

First will be on Pulsatillas, the second talk is "Eastern Treasures", about Altai, Tien Shan, northern Mongolia and Russian Far East with a short jump to Hokkaido. The third, which Susann has called "Sandy´s Special Swedish Summer Show" is about native plants of northern Sweden.
Apologies for some errors in the previous advertisement - Susann is a good friend of last year's Speaker, Olga but the two have yet to travel together to botanise.
As well as the talks, of course, there is the opportunity to brings plants for the display. See all details of that from the Show Schedule - link in the previous post

11am Making Sense of Iridaceae
2pm From South to North
Southern Hemisphere Bulbs in the Garden and Cool Greenhouse
Julian & Sarah run a small nursery in Devon and will be bringing a range of bulbs
to sell.
Tickets, costing £5:00, will be on sale at the door. Members are encouraged to
bring along as many pans of dwarf bulbs and flowering alpine plants as possible
for a display.
Bring a picnic lunch, self serve tea / coffee provided. Contributions are invited for
a 50:50 plant sale, which will be held to cover expenses.

The Clark Memorial Lecture will be given by Ian Young - his subject will be "Bulbs from Seed to the Garden"
