Title: Alpine Flowers of Sichuan - Snow Mt. Pass
Post by: johnw on July 26, 2014, 01:21:42 PM
Another youtube video by botanyboy.  The first time I viewed this I was struck by how remarkably crystal clear the photography was.  Not so the second time and I have no idea why that should be.  Some lovely Meconopsis shots near the end and despite the spelling.

He has a very good one on Japanese cherries if you click on his site.

Here is the link for  Tom Velardi, botanboy1's website :
http://botanyboy.org (http://botanyboy.org)    and this is the main link  to his you-tube videos - around 46 videos to see - orchids etc - quite a range_

I really enjoy moving pictures of the plants  -and even yak!  Gives a stronger flavour somehow than even great still photography- to hear the rushing wind that is blowing the flowers brings them close.

Some lovely Meconopsis shots near the end...

Meadows full of M. punicea - just stunning!
