WE opened our garde to the local East Lancs. AGS Group yesterday. It was a lousy day, which followed a lousy week of rain more rain and wind still some hardy souls managed to make it. This is what they saw or missed ;D

The weather was so bad the cakes were almost cleared.
This Berberis stenophylla Coralina Compacta used to be on the showbench until it got a little too big it is now, after about 10 years, 2 1/2 feet high and wide.

The Polemonium is a new planting and has lovely dark foliage. Unfortunatley the Iris has been hit badly by the rain and the flowers are going over very quickly.
-
The Sedum humifusum got a first at Glasgow Show but is looking even better now.
The last picture shows just how wet it was the bottom of the garden was flooded.
Still a good time was had by all, plenty of tea/coffee cakes and chat.

Beautiful garden Shelagh. If I still lived in Bury I'd be round regularly to scrounge cuttings ;D

Thanks Chris and David, you'd be most welcome anytime.
