Title: Cynanchum question
Post by: zephirine on May 10, 2014, 07:42:56 PM
I recently bought this plant from a german nursery, as Cynanchum ascyrifolium.
However a friend of mine was doutbful about its name, since my plant only flowers (so far) at the end of the stalks, while he thought the "true" C. ascyrifolium would bloom both at the top and along the stalk itself.
Hence my question to those who grow it: is it C. ascyrifolium, and the top bloom due to its young age, or is it another Cynanchum???
Could anyone help??? Thanks in advance... :)

Merci so much, Yann!  ;D I appreciate your help and your answer is reassuring.
Has yours developed into a large clump?

Thanks again, Yann.
I planted mine in half-shade, so far. I'll keep an eye on it, and move it to more shade if needed. But my limey soil remains moist most of the year, so maybe it will stand a bit of sun...
