News from SRGC Member and nurseryman, David Kennedy in Katoomba, NSW, Australia.

"Hi all fellow gardeners,
It was nice to see and meet some of you at the Collectors Plants fair at Clarendon NSW this year in April.
This is a great garden event where you can meet new garden minded people plus catch up with old friends and other growers and share information.
We were very happy to receive the 2014 prize for best plant stall.

The judges felt it ticked all the boxes! Imaginative presentation, interesting variety of plants neatly and clearly displayed and labelled, with helpful assistance by the stallholders.
Now that the weather has cooled down it’s a great time to get out into the garden and do some planting. Autumn is a great time to get plants into the ground before winter. We still have a great selection of plants on offer, something for everyone.
Happy Gardening
Regards
David Kennedy "

Epimediums to "Quackery" at Cloverhill!
"Epimediums and other woodland plants are a speciality - We have been importing many rare plants from overseas and we are now breeding our own hybrids and have had some beautiful results."

Good news David, and really nice that you have appeared on this fantastic Forum. Hopefully we'll hear more? You won't remember me as it's a few years ago now but I visited your fascinating garden a while back, with our friend Don Schofield. As well as the wonderful collection of Epimediums, I especially remember the wonderful collection of foxy puppies. You realize I got away with half a dozen of them, don't you? ;D ;D ;D
