The Orchid and Botanical Art Show has just been held at Vincent Square - see Alex' comment on his purchases elsewhere -
there was some important award activity there , too - this from the twitter page (https://twitter.com/jimgardiner108) of Jim Gardiner, executive vice president of the RHS :

Congratulations to Ian, very much deserved with all his work with pleiones. A very nice man as well. I had the pleasure of meeting him at Malvern last year for the first time and bought some lovely varieties from him back in the winter.

I've tried to persuade him to hang up his award certificate in his greenhouse, but he is a little shy. ;) ;)
