Mine has been flowering since mid-January in a four inch pot and is still producing flowering spikes. The same plant was blooming on 15-3-13 for the first time.

Acis nicaeense grown from seed (sown September 2009) kindly sent to me by Mick McLoughlin, who seems to have been very quiet this year so far!?

I've been missing Mick's input too -  hope he and Mandy are still  exhibiting - their mini-gardens were giving Johnny and Clare a run for their money, last time I saw !
I hope they are both well ?  :-\

Lucky you!
A hot spot in a well drained area - perhaps a raised bed - should make a good home for them.

Are they rare Maggi?, they were part of my order along with three species of galanthus to add to my collection & some other gems from Rannveig at Buried Treasure. I had a talk with her on the phone, lovely women.

I like that Acis ionica, Tony!
In our Rock Garden Acis trichophylla is flowering and tending to be pinker than they were in Tassie with Marcus!
cheers
