Title: Propagation Eranthis by cutting or breaking of the bulb?

has anyone experience with the propagation of eranthis,  by cutting or breaking of the bulb?
when? how? sterile? disinfect? how many pieces?....

I have broken Guinea Gold into pieces and just potted them together without any treatment. They seem fine.

They were dormant at the time.

Yes it worked for me (when dormant) and all came up when replanted but don't be too greedy  ;)

how thick were the pieces of tuber approximately
and in which month did you split them
