Title: nivalis 'Phantomas'
Post by: mark smyth on February 21, 2014, 11:32:19 PM
Just wondering how many people grow nivalis 'Phantomas'. Should I add it to my chip list?

Strangely I haven't photographed it since 2007

'Phantomas' has only been mentioned a couple of times in the forum - I went looking to see and it looks different in SteveT's (mr grumpy) picture  http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=10162.msg269260#msg269260 (http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=10162.msg269260#msg269260)

Looks like the amount of green is a wee bit variable

Sorry Mark :)
I will try and take some more pictures this week.By the way mine too were from Avon Bulbs. And to answer your first question about chipping it,Yes if you've got the space,it's a little beauty.I think the name means ghostly apparition, which will account for thr variable mark on each plant in a clump.
