Title: Another Newbie
Post by: alpinefairy on February 08, 2014, 12:35:24 PM
Hi, another newbie here after stalking the site now for a few years and gleaming much. I garden in Newcastle (north east UK) my pleasure is these little gems from the alpine world and SA bulbs
I'm still very much a novice but willing to learn.
My question is - is it normal to have 10 petal on 1 flower - my 1st. Saxi to flower this year was Vecerni Hvezda and what a lovely suprise it was. Photo 's not very good
Must say big thanks to Maggie for her help. and a big groan to the rest of you who have shown such wonderful plants that I just HAD to buy (only joking)
Also a Huge thanks to the seed exchange & donars, who did a great job and now I've got seeds which I may not have chosen but after looking them up I'm excited - Many Thanks
Shirl
