Post by: Palustris on January 24, 2014, 05:05:39 PM
Found an image labelled Rhamberlia x Inchgarth
I took it a Southport AGS show. Can any one conform the name as it does not appear to be mention on the interweb thingy?
TIA

It's     x Ramberlea  'Inchgarth' - it was raised by the late Brian Wilson and his wife  Maureen and was named for the area they lived in in Aberdeen. The cross was between a ramonda and a haberlea - if you search the forum ( from the search button fourth from the left in the list at the top of the page)   you  will find various references to it in the forum and in Jon Evans' AGS show pictures - and photos too, such as this one :

They grow it in Belgium, too....

And an internet search also shows a pic of yours : http://www.ideasforgardens.net/palustris/EastCheshire/EastCheshire0201.htm (http://www.ideasforgardens.net/palustris/EastCheshire/EastCheshire0201.htm)
