Hi all,
I'm hoping for some recommendations. I'm planning a trip (from the US) to visit gardens, especially rock gardens, in the UK this coming spring, and am wondering what I should absolutely not miss seeing. I know Wisley, Kew, Edinburgh of course... I'm hoping for some ideas more off the beaten track, maybe cool private gardens. Any and all suggestions would be wonderful!

Hi Joseph!
I guess you'll want to see some great nurseries too? Places like Aberconwy should be on your list to see the Levers' plant breeding and great range of rock plants, for instance. And Crug Farm of course.
Ron and Susan McBeath's place is en route to Edinburgh if you are travelling by car .... will need to think about this - jumping around all over the country with these!

Please don't miss the opportunity to visit the magnificent AGS and SRGC national alpine shows while you are here ... they occur most weekends throughout the spring and early summer and feature major nurseries, top exhibitors and incredibly friendly folk. We can supply dates and locations if we know the approximate dates of your visit?
Have a great tour.
