Maybe Acantholimon acerosum?

It looks similar in seed to what we have as Acantholimon hohenackeri but I can't be sure that it's correctly named!

I've grown three or four dozen species and many of them look alike to me.

It's also available as a print-on-demand book. First part auf deutsch, but the main treatment is in Latin.
