Had hoped to do my usual round of the garden to photograph what is still in flower or just coming but it is lashing it down here. I kn0w N. romieuxii JCA805 is in flower in the greenhouse and I saw one bud just bursting on the Hammamelis mollis pallida ysterday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed tomorrow may be better.
Anyway A VERY HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE WHO HELPS KEEP THIS WONDERFUL FORUM A DELIGHT TO VISIT.

Starting the year as I mean to on: our itinerary for the Waiheke beer tour organised. 12.15 ferry from Half Moon Bay to Auckland; 1 o'clock ferry from Auckland to Waiheke. Then the 5.40 ferry back from Waiheke to Auckland, followed by the 6.30 ferry from Auckland to Half Moon Bay. Where there's a Weir there's a way. The Half Moon Bay to Waiheke goes to Kennedy Point rather than Matiatia, and the return doesn't fit either. http://waiheke.aucklandnz.com/ (http://waiheke.aucklandnz.com/)
