Post by: Thorkild Godsk on December 26, 2013, 07:59:26 AM
Paeonia.
Is there anyone who can tell me what this Paeonia called?
The name I have is Paeonia offinalis anemoniflora, I do not think is right, 2 images.

You are right, it is not P.officinalis anemoniflora.
When does it flower? It could be P x festiva 'Rubra Plena'.

'Rubra Plena' flowers open usually here in the second week of June, I think they should open about the same time or earlier in Denmark. It is quite low growing peony 60-70cm.
If you peony flowers closer to the end of June, then it is probably lactiflora cultivar, and there are so many of them that it is difficult to say which one it might be. :(
