That tends to have more leaf out when flowering and its flowers are more openly campanulate to my mind. Perhaps more likely Rhododendron dauricum
Mind you, looking again at your picture, those flowers are quite flat ....... but no leaves ...... :-\
I'm still voting dauricum! :D

Thorkild - Definitely R. mucronulatum and a good pink form at that, the type is lavender. It is completely deciduous, any sign of evergreen behaviour would indicate a cross with dauricum. The leaves are elliptic in the type as shown and it's colour & flower forms (pink, red-pink, white, purple, double and semi-double) but leaves quite different in the dwarf forms.

Rhododendron.
Thanks for your help, I dare not say that it can not be Rhododendron dauricum or Rhododendron mucronulatum I also tendered: Rhododendron mucronulatum Cornell pink x mucronulatum, it may be an option?
