Title: Mystery bulb fruits
Post by: Tiggrx on December 14, 2013, 08:22:03 AM
I have just moved into a new house and have been trying to make a list of all the plants in the garden to have been stumped by a few.

This one seems to have been an autumn flowering bulb, currently in fruit and with leaves sprouting. Could it be Amaryllis belladonna? It is a little chunkier than the Nerines which are still flowering further along the same bed.

Thanks for any help
Aaron

The mottling on the leaves is true or a photo defect?

It's a photo defect - the leaves are evenly green.
