Hi,
... is perhaps a little insane ..... but someone of you has ever tried to settle mistletoe?
Now that it's approaching Christmas you see them more often and I wonder if that could
grow on the pear or apple trees in my whips.
greetings

Hi,
Not insane at all, people here grows all kind of plants.
Many years ago I placed some mistletoe seed from a Christmas mistletoe in different trees in my garden.
I did that 3 years in a row and finally some of them germinated and I got (and still have) plants in apple, sorbus and acer trees.
To get successful germination fresh seeds is needed. If interested I can send you some berries in the spring.
