I've left it too late again but just in case does anyone know of a European supplier for Tulips Ugam and China Lady?

Tulipa kaufmanniana 'Ugam' Janis has had it before..... Zhirair ('Boyed') told you that is 2008 ;)

Big John Amand shows it in his gallery so it might be worth contacting him : http://www.thetulipgallery.com/view/884 (http://www.thetulipgallery.com/view/884)

I have a quantity of kauf. Ugam ex Janis, probably still unwaterd but repotting won't reach most of the tulips this year. let me know at the end of next week if you still need it

Also have greigii ?sunset.... same applies

Yes, my Ugam was renamed as Ice Stick by Jan Pennings .
My tulips all are replanted and watered 2 weeks ago. Now have long roots. Still left some small residuial stocks for outside garden which I intend to replant next week.

Also Broadleigh Gardens have T. Peppermint Stick which looks similar and lovely.

Peppermint Stick does sound good Margret, but it is apparently a Tulipa clusiana form, though the picture of the flower looks superficially similar it is a very distinct plant from T. kaufmanniana. - T. clusiana is more spindly with smaller flowers and narrower leaves.
