Title: Northern Caucasus August 2013 trip
Post by: Oakwood on September 06, 2013, 07:49:12 PM: Some views and plants portraits from our Russian trip into the Stavropol District, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachaievo-Cherkessia Republics.

There we found some native views usual for Caucasus, fossilized ammonites, and a locus of quiet distinct snowdrop plants of all known Galanthus species in one forest))

I could not agree more I also enjoy seeing Crocus vallicola and Colchicum speciosum in habitat - both are just coming to flowering our garden.

Beautiful views and other interesting plants almost takes to the mountains.

Kris, many thanks! I've done it - please, enjoy these plants with names. And I put here some new alpine plants from Caucasus.

Thanks, Ian!! Nice to here there is one more Caucasian habitat for these fall-blooming bulbs now in Aberdeen))))) Let them now naturalize with you!!
