Anyone grown this South African Daisy? Don't want to plant it out in case it is a thug. TIA.
-
Yep grown it - OK, certainly didn't take over. Didn't feel inclined to grow it again. But of course that is my experience here, might be different elsewhere.

Neither did it take over here although each plant grew very big and suffocated the neighbours. The stems were lax and very long but the flowers were showy. It was a shortlived perennial.

Mine died. Afraid I put it a very dry spot and it couldn't cope.

This is one of those amazingly hardy South African plants that has even managed to winter over here in zone 3... but unfortunately has never "taken over" nor even hung around long. An interesting novelty, though!

Thanks folks. I will plant it out and see what happens.
