Title: Natures oddities
Post by: Excelsior on July 18, 2013, 10:57:29 AM
I don't know if there exist a thread about natural oddities, so I take the chance to create one.
I found this Geranium pratense growing along the roadside in Southern Norway. Is it escaped named cultivar, or is it a natural variant? The second one is a pure white Trifolium pratense. It's in all aspect more pure white than Trifolium repens

In my previous garden I had some good blue forms of G. pratense but some of the (many) self-sown seedlings were a soft pink. Then there are the striped forms too which I don't like much.
