Title: Clarkia sp
Post by: PaulM on July 16, 2013, 04:51:57 PM
Hello ! I bought seeds of this Clarkia from Northwest Native Seeds ( Ron Ratko ) many years ago, and this year I have given it a try. It was labled as
Clarkia speciosa ssp polyantha, but it doesn' t look anything like it when looking at the CalPhotos Plants  ( http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/flora/ (http://calphotos.berkeley.edu/flora/) )
It resembles C. unguiculata, but there are so many species to choose from, which resembles it. Anyone out there who has an affinity for Clarkias ?

Paul,

By the unique form of the petals [wide base] i would say C. rhomboidea
