Don't often see this in Aberdeen, Scorched grass :o Need to get the sprinkler out.
And a very unusual pot plant ;D
-
Crikey, I think the perlite you're using in that pot is very big and ugly, Angela -a seedling will never manage to push through that..... ;) ;D
As you know, we haven't got any grass to scorch - but David A. was here to get a few plants out of the front garden for us yesterday and you should see how dry it is where the bushes came out.
Powder dry - terrible - I wonder how they're growing at all in such conditions.

To my sorrow and shame I have just put the sprinkler on over some of the primulas; they are starting to look stressed. We were promised some welcome rain last night but 'they' were wrong again, surprise, surprise.

Reminds me of a wet summer in Cambridgeshire.

I have three Primula vulgaris Irish Cream that I forgot to water but I think they are OK. Only three in existance

Put the sprinkler on last night, do these things ever last.
Maggi I liked that, Big perlite. I have chopped up so many of his golf balls, he never picks them up. I think I should have had this on the moan thread ;D

Yep we seem to be getting a summer this year and after many miserable summers it's a good feeling. Glad our water isn't metered as I have had to use the hose pipe a lot so far.

Seems like a lot of people like looking at golf balls, judging by the number of views! ::)
