The summer bulb list was posted out by snail-mail today, and will be emailed out tomorrow morning - stand by your inboxes! That is, if the website works OK... ::)
If you're not on my list and would like to be added, please let me know.
-
Plugged in and ready for action, Anne!
-
Not sure if I am on your list Anne

Things went a bit mad… list is online at www.dryad-home.co.uk (http://www.dryad-home.co.uk), but sorry, many items already sold out.
-
For some reason, non-uk people are still seeing my website as it was before it was uploaded this morning. It must be foggy over the North Sea….
-
If they checked your website the other day when you announced the list was coming, perhaps it is coming out of their cache - a refresh might help.......
Irritating when these glitsches occur. :'(

... but not over the Irish Sea.
-
A german friend says : I also only saw the old website, but found out, that after tipping F5 the new one appears.

See, I'm not always wrong ...

Ah, the continent is cut-off again!

Not just non-uk people - I'm in Suffolk and it's not loading properly for me; I can see the greetings cards but not your bulb list.
-
I'm sure Anne will email the list to anyone wanting it - it is too large a file to post here, I'm afraid
-
Refreshing with F5 button helped me, but Anne was also kind to send the list as pdf by email. :)
-
I received my order yesterday, it came in three days from UK to Finland, very fast and I think the postage was not too bad (8£ or something like that). I couldn't be more pleased with fine fat bulbs packed in vermiculte. :)

Anne Wright's new Autumn list is now online - see new list now at:

Be quick!

i was quick :+)

Anne says, ref an earlier thought that the web site was wrong: : Dear all,
it's my error, it's the pdf sent out that is wrong, the website descriptions are OK! Sorry for the confusion, let me know if you want to change your order.
Apologies,
Regards,
Anne
Well done Anne for sorting this out . :)
-
I'm an idiot to make the error in the first place!
-
No, you're not an idiot. You just don't have enough minions ;)
-
;D ;D Are you offering? One can never have too many minions. You could even advance up to be a henchman eventually. I need more of those as well!
-
I should have been quicker all the lovely Hepaticas that I liked are all gone :'(
Angie :)

I will be looking for work soon...but not sure I'd be safe in your bulb house? Like a kid in a sweetie shop!

A bit of a long commute..

Those Tweeting folks have been discovering Anne's hybrids and other plants, it seems:
https://twitter.com/Snowdropman
"This un-named Narcissus hybrid from Anne Wright at Dryad Nursery is stunning"
[attachimg=1]
and another shot:
[attachimg=2]
"This little hybrid daffodil (N.rupicola x N.cyclamineus) from Anne Wright is to be registered as 'Gale Force'
[attachimg=3]
and Hepatica japonica 'Hohobeni' at Dryad Nursery
[attachimg=4]
Hepatica japonica 'Sougetsu' at Dryad Nursery
[attach=5]
There are more!
-
So they have! Isn't it funny how people have different tastes? That one with its twisted petals would be anathema to daff exhibitors. I think I'll send some to the next daffodil show to see what happens!
-
N 'Gale Force' is beautiful Anne, put my name on the list :)
-
Dare I express the opinion that daff exhibitors went off in their own direction a long time ago? The result is that some of the delicate qualities of old-fashioned daffodils have been lost in their newer breeds. I love those twisted petals.
