Title: 'Prairiebreak' - Panayoti Kelaidis visits some magnificent Scottish gardens.
Post by: ranunculus on June 30, 2013, 04:41:10 PM
I suspect many members of the SRGC (including visitors to this wonderful forum) will be interested to read the latest updates on Panayoti Kelaidis's 'Prairiebreak' blog - where he describes and illustrates his recent visit to Scotland and some of the magnificent gardens that he toured during his trip.

Good idea to list these, Cliff- I'd mentioned PK's blog of his visit to Carole and Ian's garden in the thread about the Pitlochry Party, but this gives more scope.
Note that there is both PK's own blog, Prairie Break and the "official" blogs on the site of  Denver Botanic Gardens to see
such as this  http://www.botanicgardens.org/blog/more-blue-poppies-pilgrimage-mecca-rock-gardening (http://www.botanicgardens.org/blog/more-blue-poppies-pilgrimage-mecca-rock-gardening)

This is good - I get to see pictures of Ilnacullin from Fermi de Sousa in Australia and now Carole and Ian Bainbridge's garden from Panayoti Kelaidis in Denver! Slightly tongue in cheek - the SRGC should hold an Interim 'Czech' Rock Garden Conference with a tour of Scot's alpine gardens... So nice to see all these pictures.
