Post by: Katherine J on December 12, 2007, 12:57:33 PM
Hi everybody,
In the botanical garden of the University of Wienna there will be a "Raritätenbörse" on 18-20 April 2008.

Does anybody of the Austrian forumists know this program better? I would like to be there. I hope my german will be better until then ;)

Dear Katherine,

I wouldn't worry about your German too much. Plants are the universal language! I'd plan to go and enjoy myself if I were you. The only thing to worry about is how many pots you can hold at one time!

You are right, Carlo.  :D :D
Actually it doesn't depend on my German if I will be there or not (it depends only on my free time :-\).

Kathrine,
For seven years there is a sale from plants in the Botanic Garden. Here there are most different plants. Rock garden plants like Primula, Saxifraga, etc. no Eritrichium! , Hosta, rarer vegetable and herb sorts, Tomatoes, balcony plants, old fruit tree sorts, roses etc. It is a nice show from different nurseries of Austria and Germany. The plants are not cheap. I bought only once one plant.
A Ranunculus without ID.

Thank you very much Franz!
By the way, your website is marvellous (useful for learning too)!
