Fantastic plants and good weather to enjoy them, Hans- lucky man!
I don't know which Dactylorhiza it may be but I think I see some very handsome Orobanche ?? in the picture Cypripedium 7 .

Maggi ,
thank you :D
normaly we would made this trip before 3 weeks ...but it was not possibly about the bad weather ( a lot of snow on the roads - some some roads are closed ) .... now it was fine
Yesterday we had 30° ...but today 36° ...it is crazy !!!
Thank you for the idea with Dactyloriza - could it be D.maculata ?
I remeber the spottet leaves ..
To be true ...there was a lot of Neottia nidus-avis plants ....but I dont like it...so I have not taken pictures ;)

;) and I find them fascinating - it is a good thing we all have different tastes ;D

Wow Hans, I wouldn't have minded seeing that clump of Cypripediums. Enjoy your nice weather 8)
Angie :)

Hi Angie ,
I hope that clumps are always undisturbed ....some people are really crazy >:(
-
Yes I to hope they are left alone. When I visited Branklyn gardens in Perth a few years ago there was all these small round holes in the ground. I asked a gardener as he was passing and he said it was where once Pleione bulbs were. I couldn't believe that someone that paid to visit this lovely garden would steal the plants, such a shame what some folks would do :o
Angie :)

Angie - thats a really serious problem !

One week before we made a walk in Black Forest ...but we visit a other area and much higher ( around 1000 m ) here we found these plants ( only very few ):
any ideas ?
Maybe also Dactyloriza ?
Kristof says :Dactylorhiza majalis
-
Platanthera chlorantha is Listera ovata (Pcitures No 16 and 23), also "Orobanche" (Picture 13) is another Orchid - The Bird's-nest Orchid, Neottia nidus-avis (germ.Vogel-Nestwurz). Picture No 24 - Dactylorhiza fuchsii or maculata. The last one is Dactylorhiza maialis.

thats really not a problem !
