Does anyone know anything about the Gerberas that are now being sold as "hardy"?

Seen a test done on the 'Beechgrove garden' TV program. Perhaps information on their web site. ISTR they did not all survive, but no doubt a harsh winter in Aberdeen.

I've seen these : http://www.floristholland.nl/en/products/garvinea_garden_plants (http://www.floristholland.nl/en/products/garvinea_garden_plants)
which are described as Gerbera Garvinea -
hardy to  minus five degrees C and very prone to neck rot, I believe.
