Title: Stylidium 2013
Post by: fredg on June 01, 2013, 10:17:15 AM
Yet another protocarnivorous, paracarnivorous, subcarnivorous, borderline carnivorous, or carnivorous plant for your delectation. As with Stylidium debile, this Stylidium caespitosum is as carnivorous as a cabbage when not in flower.

Yes it's an Aussie Maggi :D.

A tiny plant I seperated from the main one, and it flowers  :o

Stylidium debile showing the carnivorous trichomes and the pollinating column. BTW the reaction time of the column is 15 milliseconds so it's not sluggish :D
