I've been contacted by a man in London who is looking for Dactylorhiza 'Bressingham Bonus'. Plantfinder doesn't list it. A Google search shows only one nursery but they are in USA.
Does anyone grow it have spare plant/s
Is it lost now?

They had it at the Cruickshank Botanic Garden when I was working there but i don't know if they still have it. Will check next time I am in.

I had it in Dunblane. Very vigorous, if my memory serves me correct?

Thanks Roma.
Who took it off you, Anthony?

'Bressingham Bonus' was introduced into the Seattle area several years ago (from England) and thrives in many of our gardens. As it readily hybridizes with other dactylorhizas, I have to vegetatively propagate it to make sure it stays true. Anthony remembers correctly, it is very vigorous and doubles or triples in number every year. I often send my extras to area nurseries.
While this won't help whoever is looking for it on your side of the pond, please know that the plant is by no means lost. ;)

That I can't remember Mark. Wouldn't even think about trying dactylorhizas here in Auckland. We have only had one decent day's rain since Christmas, although this is unusual.
