Nice to see Fermi!
In the northern hemisphere it is time to collect seeds for the crocus group seed exchange. Here are a few of my contributions:
1. Crocus vallicola
2. C. gilanicus
3. C. gramensis
Others to come

My seeds arrived yesterday and have now been sown after their soaking. Thanks to the Group for organising this wonderful thing!
Also this has prompted me to get my act together for the SRGC seed exchange, as I had to clean and packet my collected seed (which had been sitting in the glass ramekins on the table) so I could soak my Crocus seed.....

An appeal to UK Crocus growers. The Crocus Group Seed exchange UK arm is, as expected, rather light on donations. If you are a UK based grower and have seed to donate please do so ASAP. Anyone can join the group. The only charge is to cover cost of the seed exchange, there's no membership fee. Donors get priority in the exchange. Please contact me if you want more information and for my land address if you can donate. crocusgroup@hotmail.co.uk Thanks

The UK Seed exchange list is now available. Crocus Group members can email me via crocusgroup at hotmail.co.uk if you wish to receive a list of seed and corms available.

AGSVG Special Interest Group: Crocus
The AGSVG is delighted to announce that we now have our first 'Special Interest Group'. Mat Murray approached us about setting up a specialist group under the AGSVG umbrella, with a focus on the genus Crocus.
Mat will be submitting regular articles (including cultivation tips) for the newsletter and the journal. The first official article is about care of autumn flowering crocus. Mat hopes that by encouraging local members to participate in the AGSVG Seed exchange by collecting and distributing Crocus seed, we can promote the growing of this wonderful genus in Australia.
To join the Crocus SIG you simply have to belong to the AGSVG, there are no additional fees or requirements. If you aren’t a member yet, please contact us

cheers

It's that time of the year again, when I'm begging for seeds for the seed exchange of the Crocus Group...the mails have been sent out, those who are a member and haven't received an e-mail, please let me know! And those who want to participate in the exchange, just send me a PM.
