« on: May 22, 2009, 12:12:46 AM »
I am a new member.
These photos are from Turkey.
I'm not sure the exact names of them... The name below the photos are my estimations.
I also need help of their ID.

Thanks for your interest...

Welcome Özgür.  You've started with some beautiful pictures for us to enjoy.  I can't help with IDs, but can still appreciate the irises, that is for sure.  I love that brown sprengeri (as you've labelled it).  What a great colour.  So many nice irises.  Thanks.  8)
Cheers.

Welcome to the forum Ozgur, great to have here  people from the paradise called Turkey.

Regarding the photos you have posted, i would say

No. 1 and 2 are Iris stenophylla
No. 3 Iris spuria ssp. musulmanica
No. 4 Iris galatica

for the rest it seems you got it right,

lovely pictures.I like the purple schactii. Does the name Karaman on the iris sprengeri indicate you found it near Karamanmarhas because I think this is well outside its range as given in Mathew Irises. If so where was it and in what kind of conditions.

I have found it near Konya growing in hot dry sandy soil.

Welcome to the Forum Ozgur , you live in a paradise for bulbous plants .
Oron has already identified your Irises -you can easily tell from your photo of  I. galatica that it is this species and not persica ,as the green stiff bract and bracteole are of equal lenght .
I like the purple form of I.schachtii also -only the yellow form grows in my garden
