Congratulations, what a nice group you have from this snowflake!  I bought peshmenii two years ago but today I checked... it's gone!  :(  I will look again somewhere to buy it.

Very nice! ´Barnes´, at least some groups of it, are in flower here, too. G. elwesii and reginae-olgae are reliable autumn-flowering snowdrops in my garden, but I lost G. peshmenii, too. It may be quite hardy if good drainage is provided, as I learnt in a garden where winters are much colder than here.

Rudi, You grow a beautiful group of different clones, as it seems! What is Your experience?

In my garden, hybrids of G. elwesii with G. peshmenii do much better, even if they show the applanate vernation of the latter. To my surprise, the marks on the inners are often larger than those of both parents, like with this clone.

The most reliable clone of G. reginae-olgae in my garden is this old, nameless one. In some places it´s already gone, in others it flowers at the same time as ´Tilebarn Jamie´and ´Cambridge´, which usually start later than this one. The rainy summer (300 mm) has turned things upside down, it seems.
