Carsten:
Some Hepaticas in the greenhouse start to flower.

Hepatica nobilis 'Little Abingthon' has a very dark blue similar to 'Maria Theresia'.

The plant next to 'Little Abingthon' is 'Müssel'

Hepatica nobilis 'Bergkristall' (rock crystal), first discovered in 2017 in the Bavarian Alps.

Carsten, great Hepatica's! Here the weather is still on the dark side. The Hepatica's are waiting for some more sun.

Carsten:
Thank you, Herman!
The japonicas started, too. A mix of colours of today...

Too of my seedlings...

... and two unnamed cultivars from Japan.

And one of my favourites, 'Sugomori'.

Flower shape is so perfect in this one! Also dark blue one is wonderful.

You have a whole range of colours in H.japonica, thank you for showing them. :)

Gabriela:
A beautiful start for the Hepatica season Carsten!
I suppose all these beauties are pot grown? The ground is still solidly frozen here.
